There are tons of customer relationship management (CRM) platforms for you to choose from when running your business. They claim to offer everything your company could need, regardless of size. However, few of these vendors can provide your enterprise brand with what it really needs to enhance your customer relationships and provide returns up to $8.71 for every dollar you spend.

Aside from handling the number of leads you generate daily, your enterprise CRM software should be able to provide enough user profiles for your extensive marketing and sales teams. It’s also essential for this solution to be customizable to meet your business requirements instead of adapting your workflow to any software limitations. Luckily, I have done the research to find out what platform can help. As a matter of fact, I’ve found 10 of them – you’re welcome! If you’re new to the CRM game and looking for a unique solution, this article will clear up any confusion about which one is right for you – you’re welcome.

Comparison Criteria

What do I look for when I select the best enterprise CRM? Here’s a summary of my evaluation criteria:

  1. User Interface (UI): I look for an adaptable system that can handle your needs on the home screen. It is vital to use a platform that allows users to customize their workspace to fit the company’s and team’s requirements. An intuitive system can help increase your business’s conversion rates.
  2. Usability: I look for a platform that provides advanced features that can handle your structured and unstructured data. It should also automate your marketing and sales-related function, such as forecasting and order management.
  3. Integrations: I look for an enterprise CRM that can easily integrate with the tech stack your organization is already using. These solutions typically offer hundreds or even thousands of integrations, allowing smooth transitions between these applications.
  4. Value for $: I look for a platform that remains affordable as your business continues to grow. Typically, CRM vendors price their service according to your contact list size or the number of users per month. These solutions should also fit your budget when the time comes to upgrade your subscription.

Enterprise CRM: Key Features

There are many key features an enterprise CRM should have. These platforms can handle a significant portion of your workload and automate your sales processes while simultaneously allowing you to manage current customers and future prospects effectively. Before purchasing a subscription package, it’s vital to check out the features and functionalities available to you and which ones your business needs. These platforms can vary significantly, so you should start by defining your requirements and conducting in-depth research. Here are some of the primary features to look for when considering a new platform:

  1. Contact Management: This allows you to organize, segment, store, and access your customer data in a centralized location. This data can include websites, emails, social media handles, and other relevant information to identify and target specific customers.
  2. Lead Management: Identify your best customers based on various demographics to ensure the accuracy of lead management. This entails converting a prospect into a lead by using a scoring system and moving them through a pipeline.
  3. Sales Reporting: Track sales activities and metrics to ensure you can see the efficiency of your current sales process. A CRM platform should show your business’s critical metrics on a dashboard and create reports automatically to see if there are any improvements you can make to your process.
  4. Sales Analytics: An excellent CRM platform can help your future sales campaigns by analyzing previous projects. To accomplish this, you need a platform to collect your data from multiple areas, such as social media, website traffic, or user polls. These platforms should regularly provide a report that shows the factors you want to see.
  5. Mobile CRM: Many vendors provide a mobile app you and your team can use on the road. This allows everyone to operate the CRM and monitor their data on any mobile device.
  6. Sales Automation: Automate your repetitive tasks, such as generating reports, sending emails, scheduling, and scoring leads. Sales automation can save your business a significant amount of time by delegating vital tasks to the software, reducing human errors, and tightening sales cycles.
  7. Collaboration Tools: Sharing data and documents across various departments and teams is vital. A CRM platform needs to allow users to notify colleagues immediately with updates, share data from a central location, and collaborate without constantly flooding others with emails. This can ensure everyone works with the most up-to-date and relevant details.
  8. Sales Forecasting: This feature allows you to see if your sales teams are on target and make necessary changes to future campaigns. Your CRM’s historical data can help you predict future sales and revenue.
