Entry-Level CX Jobs

Customer Service Coordinator – Swoop-Patagonia (North America)

Salary: Upwards of £23,000 ($28,294 USD)

Perks: Once a year, you’ll actually get to go on a trip to Patagonia to learn about the land! (That’s the Southern tip of Chile and Argentina, not the clothing company that sells windbreakers.) You’ll also get 25 paid holidays off, plus your birthday and public holidays. The list goes on: flexible work hours, pension contributions, wellbeing support, and an “Annual Swoop Summer Adventure,” which sounds like all kinds of amazing.

Why It’s Hot: Swoop is a UK-based travel agency that plans getaways to the Arctic, Antarctica, and Patagonia! They employ North Americans to help serve their customers in Western time zones, so you’ll basically get to be part-CX consultant, part-travel agent! Guide users through planning and booking their adventures, and promote responsible, sustainable travel by educating users on preserving the land around them.

Customer Experience Specialist – Combyne (Canada)

Salary: Not Listed

Perks: This job offers a flexible work schedule, so if you’ve got other responsibilities like school or family to attend to, you should definitely consider applying. You’ll receive three weeks of paid vacation plus an extra three days for personal leave, and a customizable benefits plan that you can tailor to your needs. Twice a year, you’ll be invited out to visit the company headquarters, and you’ll get the chance to visit farms and farm shows to network and learn. Not sure if you’re familiar with farms, but they have a reputation for having a whole bunch of ridiculously cute animals.

Why It’s Hot: Based out of Saskatchewan—a prairie province known for their valleys and vast fields of grain—Combyne develops digital apps for crop farmers. From inventory management to marketing and delivery, and even analyzing which crops get more bang for your buck, the folks at Combyne seem to have carved out a brilliant niche. You can’t exactly bring a desktop computer onto a tractor, so designing an app software for farmers to use makes total sense.

Bilingual Customer Experience Specialist — Callia (Canada)

Salary: $17 – $19 per hour (CAD)

Perks: Extended health and dental, life and disability insurance, vision care, and a generous paid time off package make this a very attractive position for anyone new to the CX industry. Now, while all these benefits are pretty substantial, there’s one extra perk that’s extra sparkly: DISCOUNTED FLOWERS! Now, we’re not just talkin’ limp tulips from the grocery store—Callia makes some of the most gorgeous, contemporary floral designs you’ll ever see. Fill your home office with fresh, fragrant flowers, and bask in the sheer magnificence of it all!

Why It’s Hot: What began as a small startup in the Canadian prairies has grown to become a mega-trendy, innovative tech company that has revolutionized the floral industry. They’re making big waves with their perfectly curated bouquets—and floral subscription packages—available for delivery across Canada and the United States. For Callia, it’s all about the little details—you can see it in their beautifully presented, protective packaging, convenient shopping processes, and downright swoon-worthy social media presence. If you’ve got a thing for flowers, this job will be a wildly satisfying entry-level position to get your foot in the CX door.

Why It’s Hot: With a name like Alt Trading, you’re probably thinking stock market or crypto, right? WRONG! It’s actually way cooler—it’s trading cards. Like, baseball, Yu Gi Oh, Magic the Gathering-type stuff.  Alt has created a platform for appraising and selling collectible cards, so it might be time to dust off that old binder of Pokemon cards and see if you can strike gold.
